Tax hikes are “tax cuts.”

Domineering bullies are “victims.”

Actual victims are “liars” unless they level charges against opponents, in which case, they’re “heroes.”

Those with the most advantages are the disadvantaged.

Restoring respect for American leadership in the world means making it a universal laughingstock.

Honoring the troops is based on arbitrary symbols, rather than actually treating troops, veterans, and their families with respect.

Crooks are called honest and decent and “good guys.”

Dictators are praised and allies mocked.

Expanding healthcare means shrinking it.

Making America Great Again means taking it back to the 19th century.

Subsidies for clean, renewable forms of energy distort the markets, but subsidizing polluting, health-depleting coal is sound public policy.

Improving education means promoting ignorance.

Essential American freedoms begin and end at the Second Amendment.  Bedrock First Amendment freedoms (religion and press) mean nothing.

Co-equal branches of government are to be mocked, disregarded, or run over.

Environmental Protection means Environmental Destruction.

The wealthiest are the ones who most need government assistance.
