Republican Senators in the powerful Sedition Caucus gave Trump a free pass on inciting insurrection aimed at their very own seat of power, although 7 of their Republican colleagues voted for truth, honesty, decency, and democracy, i.e., to convict Trump.  Apparently 15 Sedition Senators explicitly violated their oaths as jurors in the Trump Impeachment Trial, refusing to attend one day of the hearing. At other times, some of them attended, but ostentatiously busied themselves with other tasks and shuffled papers to show they weren’t paying attention to the House Managers. At various times, at least 3 members openly acknowledged conspiring with Trump’s Defense Team on their presentation and strategy, in a trial where those 3 served as jurors.

These traitorous “lawmakers” had no problem with Donald Trump spending months whipping his base into a frenzy with BASELESS lies that the election was rigged — stolen from him through massive fraud perpetrated by independent Republican and Democratic election officials throughout the country. Nor were they troubled that Trump unleashed an angry mob, whose rage he stoked, to storm the Capitol in a vain attempt to stop Congress from fulfilling its Constitutional Duty to certify electoral votes in the 2020 Presidential Election. That Trump’s mob desecrated the temple of democracy and caused deaths and severe injuries to police and others concerned them not in the slightest. (Except for Mitch McConnell, who DEPLORED Trump’s conduct, RIGHT AFTER he voted to ACQUIT him!)

So the Republican Sedition Caucus would undoubtedly be OK with President Biden working his base into a frenzy by saying Republicans threatened the very existence of the country and endangered our American way of life by failing to carry out their constitutional duty in this impeachment vote. Imagine if Biden had said the people can’t let this vote be stolen from them, so they needed to come to Washington today, when the Senate was going to vote, so they could take back Congress for the people. What if Biden had addressed them in a rally, specifically calling out the most egregious enemies of the people – Hawley, Cruz, Graham, Paul, Lee, Tuberville, etc. – and told the crowd these Senators need to “get the message” — which would only happen if the mob fights like hell. If it turned violent, well, that’s not Biden’s fault!
