Per The Recount, House Minority “Leader” Qevin McCarthy says he wishes everybody could hear what Marjorie Taylor Greene told the House Republican Conference, claiming that she denounced QAnon, said something about the shootings, and declared she didn’t know anything about space lasers. So, as a public service, here is a transcript of what Greene actually (or at least most likely) said:

“QAnon. I don’t know if it’s true, but a LOT of my supporters – and YOURS – BELIEVE IT, so you BETTER NOT PISS them OFF! If you get’em RILED UP, they’re likely to STORM the Capitol or your office — looking for YOU!

“Anyway, I was only exercising my 1^st Amendment rights – just like our great Still President Trump did when he UNLEASHED the MOB on the Capitol to STOP Congress DEAD in its TRACKS!! Do you want THAT again?! [awkward silence.] I DIDN’T THINK so!

“And I remind you that I talk to our Great Leader Trump PERSONALLY, and he says he’s gonna PROTECT me! So DON’T PISS me OFF or you’ll PISS HIM off! He can still marshal & UNLEASH the mob on his enemies whenever he wants! Even if you don’t PHYSICALLY die, your CAREER certainly will. You’ll be PRIMARIED by some gun-toting Right Wing Wacko – and then YOU’LL be OUT and they’ll [sic] be EVEN MORE like ME in Congress!

“And SPEAKING of GUNS, I KNOW HOW to USE this BABY I’m holding RIGHT NOW – so BE CAREFUL what you SAY and HOW you VOTE!

“And Mr. Wannabe Speaker McCarthy, NOW YOU’RE GONNA GO OUT there and SAY I was very reasonable and restrained and you’re NOT gonna take ANY action against me!  And the rest of you MOTHERFLICKERS are gonna GIVE ME a STANDING OVATION — NOW!! GET ON YOUR FEET!!”
