For Celebrities, “Give It Up” usually means an emcee is exhorting the crowd to give them an ovation.  Nonetheless, a surprising number of them – not all Christians (including Robert Kraft and Donald Trump) — have nonetheless given up something for Lent:

Donald Trump – “I gave up being so critical of myself.  I’ve got to stop beating myself up!”

Robert Kraft – Gave up flying from Boston to Florida for BL0WJ0BS.  He’s now going to patronize & support local Boston Businesses!

Lori Loughlin’s Daughters – Have graciously and selflessly given up their spots at U.S.C., so two more deserving students can have them.

Lindsey Graham – Gave up his soul. He made this donation in the name of Donald Trump.

George Conway – Gave up his marital pleasures, but is using pleasurable tweeting as an effective substitute.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Ronna Romney McDaniel – Gave up their middle names. Not necessarily much of a sacrifice, as they figure they’ve already gotten as far as they can by trading in on their family names.

Tucker Carlson – Gave up his advertisers.

Jared Kushner – Gave up the USA’s top intelligence secrets – to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS)!
