At this time of year, many people put together New Year’s Resolutions, often dealing with self-improvement. Here are President Trump’s:
- QUIT BEING SO MODEST! Take some credit for things instead of constantly deflecting it to others!
- Stop sitting back and taking it when others criticize me. Fire back for a change, every now and then!
- Be MORE SPONTANEOUS! Don’t be so scripted and methodical all the time.
- Quit immersing myself in the details of legislative and regulatory initiatives. FOCUS on the BIG PICTURE and leave the details to others!
- Let OTHERS accept responsibility when things go wrong. Stop automatically taking the BLAME for things!
- Quit filtering thoughts in a calculated way before expressing them. Be less like Mr. Spock and more like Captain Kirk!
- Don’t shy away from praise when others want to give it. They feel good doing it, so suffer through it, even if I find it a bit embarrassing.
- Be willing to compare myself to others, even previous Presidents. Stop shying away from such comparisons!
- DON’T WORK SO HARD! Take time to RELAX and do the things I enjoy! Play a little golf, watch a little TV.
